Vibrant pink Mammillaria cactus blossoms bloom against a black background, creating a striking graphic effect. The original artwork begins with sumi-e (Japanese ink-wash) paintings by Sumie Matsubara, digitally transformed by Hiroko into a modern botanical composition.

The design is brought to life through two layers of fabric—a silky-textured polyester blend and mesh, both featuring the same Mammillaria print. The layers move independently, creating depth, dimension, and a unique, almost computer-generated visual effect.

A relaxed silhouette and high-low hem, shorter in the front and longer in the back, offer a modern drape with added coverage over the hips. On the back, a subtle “Phoenix, AZ” detail adds a distinctive signature touch.
